...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central Texas, including the
  following counties, in central Texas, Comanche, Hamilton and
  Mills. In north central Texas, Erath.

* WHEN...Until 815 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water on roadways is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This
    will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying
    and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in
    the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have
    fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
    forecast.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hamilton, Hico, Purves, Carlton, Olin, Gentrys Mill, Lamkin,
    Clairette, Fairy, Edna Hill, Alexander, Energy, Pottsville,
    Shive, Duffau, Selden, Johnsville, Indian Gap, Pecan Wells
    and Chalk Mountain.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, McCulloch and San Saba.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 454 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
    Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Saba, Richland Springs, Algerita, Cherokee, Sloan, Hall,
    Harkeyville and Us-190 Near The Mcculloch-San Saba County
    Line.
