...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
  county, Bexar.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 658 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Antonio, Schertz, Converse, Universal City, Live Oak,
    Selma, San Antonio Int Airport, Stinson Municipal Airport,
    Randolph AFB, Leon Valley, Kirby, Alamo Heights, Windcrest,
    Terrell Hills, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Olmos Park,
    China Grove, Lackland AFB and Sea World.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Antonio, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch, Shavano Park,
    Hollywood Park, Cross Mountain, Leon Springs, The Dominion,
    Government Canyon State Natural Area, Timberwood Park, Grey
    Forest, Fiesta Texas, Scenic Oaks and San Geronimo.

you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become

* WHEN...Until 815 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 614 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    mainly rural areas of North Central Crockett and Southwestern
    Irion Counties
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    crossings along County Road 302.
