...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South
Carolina...

  Congaree River At Carolina Eastman affecting Richland, Calhoun and
  Lexington Counties.

  Congaree River At Congaree River at Congaree NP Near Gadsden
  affecting Richland and Calhoun Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Most flooding deaths occur in vehicles. Never drive through a flooded
roadway or around barricades. Turn around, don`t drown.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

The next statement will be issued Monday morning at 800 AM EDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING TO THURSDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Congaree River at Carolina Eastman.

* WHEN...From Monday evening to Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 115.0 feet, Flooding occurs in low lying areas of the
  Carolina Eastman Facility and at the Congaree National Park. At
  119.0 feet, Extensive flooding occurs in the Congaree National
  Park. Some area farmland is flooded. Minor flooding occurs at the
  Carolina Eastman Facility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 102.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 114.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
    tomorrow evening to a crest of 120.7 feet Tuesday evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 115.0 feet.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Congaree River at Congaree River at Congaree NP Near
  Gadsden.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon to Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flooding begins in the Congaree National
  Park. This will begin to produce flooding of portions of the lower
  boardwalk. At 17.0 feet, The access road to the Sandy Run
  subdivision becomes flooded. The lower boardwalk in the Congaree
  National Park becomes flooded by Cedar Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:00 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 2.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
    Tuesday afternoon to a crest of 17.0 feet Wednesday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage late Thursday evening.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHERE...(English) Broad River near at Shelby Hwy (SC 18), 4 W
  Blacksburg.

* WHEN...From this afternoon to Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 to 16.0 feet, Action Stage Flooding continues.
  Areas of Buffalo Creek may flood due to backwater effects. The
  Broad River may also be flooding River Rd. and Little Hope Rd. near
  US 29.  Adjacent farmland and low-lying area flooding is
  continuing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 15.1 feet and rising.
  - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
    this afternoon to a crest of 16.7 feet this evening. It will then
    fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

  French Broad River At at Grove Bridge Rd in Blantyre affecting
  Henderson and Transylvania Counties.

.Excessive runoff from widespread 4 to 6 inches of storm total
rainfall will maintain flooding along the French Broad River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...French Broad River at Grove Bridge Rd in Blantyre.

* WHEN...Until Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Farmland flooding
  continues on both sides of the French Broad River, especially
  between the river and Brevard and Pleasant Grove Roads. Floodwaters
  begin to impact boat access areas at Grove Bridge Rd. and Crab
  Creek Rd.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 6:30 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 16.0 feet and rising.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5 to
    17.0 feet by this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
