...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Granite Falls HWY 212 affecting Chippewa,
  Yellow Medicine and Renville Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa, Lac qui Parle
  and Yellow Medicine Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

.Area rivers are forecast to continue to fall through mid-week when
additional rainfall is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Granite Falls HWY 212.

* WHEN...Until Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 885.0 feet, Flood waters begin to reach the alley way
  along the river at the foot bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1015 AM CDT Sunday, the stage was 885.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1015 AM CDT Sunday was 885.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 883.9
    feet Sunday, July 20.
  - Flood stage is 885.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    884.9 feet on 10/13/2017.

  - At 900 AM CDT Sunday, the stage was 23.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Sunday was 23.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 21.0 feet Sunday,
    July 20.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    23.0 feet on 10/12/2018.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the
  river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along
  the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1000 AM CDT Sunday, the stage was 15.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1000 AM CDT Sunday was 15.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Saturday afternoon and continue falling to 13.8 feet
    Sunday, July 20.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.5 feet on 10/30/2019.
