This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, east central South
Dakota and southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Snow begins today and continues through Saturday. Expect disruptions
to travel. Expect reduced visibility and the potential for blowing
and drifting snow.

Areas south of I-90 toward the southern Missouri River Valley and US
Highway 20 are expected to see a light glaze of ice later today into
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Winter storm continues Saturday. Snowfall totals Friday through
Saturday of 5 to 12 inches expected, highest along and east of
Iowa/Minnesota State Highway 60 with locally higher amounts
possible.

Northerly wind gusts Saturday of 25-35 mph lead to blowing and
drifting snow. Expect reduced visibility. Travel will become
difficult if not impossible for some locations.

Much colder air moves in Sunday into early next week with wind
chills below zero at times.

South Dakota.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for northern Nebraska
and portions of north central Nebraska tonight through Saturday
morning. Areas along and north of Highway 2 may see snow
accumulations between up to 4 inches, locally higher.

Further south, freezing drizzle and light freezing rain is possible
late this evening into the early overnight hours, most notably along
and south of Interstate 80. This may create some slippery and
hazardous travel conditions. Overnight, precipitation is expected to
switch over to snow, which may cover some of the icy patches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Additional light snow is likely Saturday morning, ending by the
afternoon. Strong northerly winds will gust up to 45 mph will lead to
areas of blowing snow. The combination of slick roads and reduced
visibility will again lead to difficult travel conditions across much
of the area before winds diminish Saturday evening.

Sub-zero wind chills are likely each morning Saturday, Sunday, and
Monday.

Additional light snow is possible Sunday night across southwest
Nebraska. At this time, snowfall amounts, if any, are expected to be
very light.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Low pressure moving through the region today and tonight will deliver
a round of snowfall to the area. Some moderate to heavy bands of snow
will be possible through this morning before becoming less intense
this afternoon. More widespread and steady snowfall is expected
tonight. The consistency of this snow will be light and fluffy and
more prone to blowing and drifting, especially in areas where wind
gusts will range between 20 to 35 mph. Localized visibility may be
restricted at times but not significantly widespread. Highest
snowfall amounts will set up from north central South Dakota south
and east toward Gettysburg, Miller and Redfield. Lesser amounts are
expected for south central South Dakota and the northeast corner of
the state into west central Minnesota.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Snow will continue through the morning and taper off and end during
the afternoon. Gusty winds across south central South Dakota will
lead to some blowing and drifting and temporary reductions to local
visibility. Much below normal temperatures are expected early next
week with wind chills falling into the teens to near 20 below zero
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday mornings.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, east central Nebraska, northeast Nebraska and southeast
Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A band of snow is expected to bring at least minor travel impacts to
parts of the area Friday into Friday night. The highest chances will
be in far northeast Nebraska into west-central Iowa.

This evening into tonight, mixed precipitation including rain,
freezing drizzle, and snow are expected. This will result in some
icing and hazardous travel conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Travel impacts will become more widespread Saturday as snow
overspreads the area and a few places continue to see some light
icing. In addition, gusty northwest winds will lead to some blowing
and drifting snow, including into Saturday evening after snow ends.
Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories have been issued
for the majority of the outlook area for Friday into Saturday.
