This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Wildfire smoke may cause surface impacts at times. Those sensitive
to air pollutants should monitor air quality sources.

Showers and thunderstorms continue through tonight. Isolated strong
to severe storms are possible, and may produce half dollar sized hail
and wind gusts up to 70 mph. Locally heavy rainfall may also occur.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Periodic, low end shower and thunderstorm chances continue into
Saturday. Unsettled weather pattern continues Sunday through at least
mid next week leading to periods of showers and thunderstorms.
Guidance indicates strong to severe storms and locally heavy rainfall
are possible, although details remain uncertain. Continue to monitor
the forecast for updates.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Scattered severe thunderstorms are expected this evening across
portions of north central into western Nebraska. The threat is
generally west of a line from Ogallala to Butte. Damaging winds and
large hail are the main severe weather threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Scattered severe thunderstorms are again expected later Friday
across western and north central Nebraska. The main threat area is
along and west of a line from Merriman to Callaway. The main risks
will again be damaging winds and large hail.

Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight and Friday

Isolated strong to severe storms possible (5% chance) tonight
mainly around Knox and Antelope Counties. Primary hazards are
large hail (1+ inches) and damaging winds (60+ mph).

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday night through Thursday

Isolated strong to severe storms again possible on Saturday (5%
chance) for portions of east-central Nebraska. The primary threat
is damaging winds. Another threat for severe weather appears
possible early next week, though details still need to be hammered
out. A marginal risk for excessive rainfall and flash flooding
also is possible (5% chance) with showers and storms on Monday.

central South Dakota and northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

There is a marginal risk (1 out of 5) for severe storms this
afternoon and evening. Main threats appear to be large hail (up to
quarter sized) and strong winds (60 mph gusts). There is also the
threat for heavy rain with an additional of 1 to 2 inches of rainfall
along and east of the Sisseton Hills.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Thunderstorms expected through the weekend. However, no severe
weather is anticipated at this time. Main threat will be lightning.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A few severe storms will be possible this afternoon & evening
across southern MN as a warm front moves into the state from Iowa.
Isolated instances of large hail, damaging wind gusts, and a
tornado or two will be possible.

Tonight, heavy rain is expected to develop to the north of the
warm front, with 1 to 3 inches of rain possible across central
Minnesota that could come as far south as Granite Falls and the
Twin Cities.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

The heavy rain threat from tonight will continue into Friday
morning.

A very active period of weather is expected from
Saturday night through Wednesday, with multiple rounds of
thunderstorms expected. This will result in additional chances
for strong to severe storms and heavy rainfall.

evening, with severe weather possible in northern Iowa during this
time. Hail and gusty winds would be the primary threats.

Isolated thunderstorms are forecast at times from Friday into
Saturday. The probability of severe weather is low during this time.
Additional thunderstorm chances are then forecast from Saturday
night into next week. The severe weather chances during that time
frame will be assessed in the coming days.
