...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN YANKTON AND SOUTHERN TURNER COUNTIES...

At 349 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Hurley, or 12 miles south of Parker, moving east at
50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Centerville, Viborg, Hurley, and Davis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

FOR NORTHWESTERN CLAY...NORTHEASTERN BON HOMME...YANKTON...TURNER AND
SOUTHEASTERN HUTCHINSON COUNTIES...

At 336 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of
Menno, or 20 miles southwest of Parker, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
         considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
         Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Locations impacted include...
  Viborg, Hurley and Centerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southeastern
South Dakota.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This is a potentially deadly storm. Seek shelter in an interior room
on the lowest floor of a well-built structure. Abandon vehicles in
search of a more substantial permanent structure. Stay away from
windows.
