  Sabine River At Logansport affecting De Soto, Shelby and Panola
  Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

  ramp on the Texas side and lowland flooding into Logansport,
  Louisiana public park.

  - At 6:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 28.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 6:45 PM CDT Thursday was 29.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue falling to 25.5 feet early
    Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
