for the following rivers...

  East Fork San Jacinto at Cleveland affecting the following counties in
  Texas...Harris...Liberty...Montgomery...San Jacinto


For the East Fork San Jacinto River, at Cleveland, Moderate flooding is
occurring and is expected to continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.

Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.

Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.

  left upstream side threatened.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow late evening and continue to
  rise to near 28.0 feet by Saturday evening. The river will fall below flood
  stage by Sunday early afternoon.
* At 29.0 feet...Major lowland flooding begins as homes in several subdivisions
  above Liberty begin flooding. Extensive flooding over much of Liberty County
  can be expected with each incremental rise in the river.

* At 19.0 feet...The home on the left upstream bank begins to flood. Several
  homes in Splendora and Patton Village have water in them.

* At  8:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 3.4 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...rise above flood stage by tomorrow afternoon and
  continue to rise to near 21.6 feet by early Saturday morning.the
  river will fall below flood stage by Monday early afternoon.
* Impact...At stages near 21.9 feet...At this level, water will be
  flowing over the Highway 418 bridge.
* Impact...At stages near 20.0 feet...Water begins to flow over the
  bridge on Farm to Market Road 418. Water also begins to cover F.M.
  418 at several other locations. Road in Village Creek State Park
  begins to have water across it.

* Forecast...rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue
  to rise to near 6.9 feet by Sunday early afternoon.
* Impact...At stages near 7.0 feet...Water begins to go over Bigner
  Road into the saltwater barrier. Water also cuts off most access to
  the Four Oaks Ranch Road downstream of Four Oaks boat launch.
