Warning, which is in effect from noon Saturday to 8 PM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS: Low Humidities and Strong Gusty Winds will create
  erratic fire behavior and new fire starts.

* AFFECTED AREA:
  In Central WY...Fire Weather Zones 280...283...285...288...
289 and 300.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED:
  In Central WY...Fremont...Natrona.
  In North Central WY...Hot Springs...Johnson...Washakie.
  In Southwest WY...Sweetwater.
  In West Central WY...Sublette.

* WIND: Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY: 7 to 13 percent.

...Dry cold front passing through Idaho Saturday evening...

.A dry cold front is expected to pass through central Idaho early
Saturday afternoon and the Caribou Highlands late afternoon or
early evening. Before the cold front arrives, it will increase
the wind, warm temperatures, and, as a result, lower humidity.
Winds in the higher elevations of the Salmon-Challis NF, the
northern portion of the Sawtooth NF, and the Caribou NF, will
have winds gusting in excess of 25 mph, and humidity below 15
percent Saturday afternoon.

422 AND 476 ABOVE 7500 FEET ELEVATION...

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Red Flag
Warning for gusty winds and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from 1 PM to 8 PM MDT Saturday. The Fire Weather Watch is
no longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 422 Sawtooth Range/Northern
  Sawtooth NF and Fire Weather Zone 476 Lemhi and Lost River
  Range/Challis NF.

* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.

* IMPACTS...These weather conditions, combined with extremely
  dry and receptive fuels, can mean rapid spread rates, high
  fire intensity, and produce extreme fire behavior such as fire
  whirls.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly based on these criteria
for Southeastern Idaho:

* Relative humidity at or below 15 percent and wind gusts of at
least 25 mph in the mountains, or 30 mph in the Snake Plain.
