This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

Briefly critical fire weather conditions are forecast today across
portions of the area. A combination of very low humidity and warm
temperatures are forecast with sporadic west wind gusts around 30
mph. The combination of these weather conditions may make fire
starts a little easier to occur. The peak time for these fire
weather conditions is from 1pm-4pm MT.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated.

central Nebraska.

Near critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon
over the southeastern Nebraska Panhandle and far southwestern
Nebraska.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are possible
Tuesday afternoon mainly west of highway 83.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
