...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING
THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING FOR MUCH OF NORTHERN ARIZONA...

* AFFECTED AREA...Locations near Buffalo Pass, Camp Verde,
  Chinle, Chino Valley, Congress, Cottonwood, Dilkon, Eagar-
  Springerville, Fredonia, Ganado, Grand Canyon, Holbrook, Jacob
  Lake, Kayenta, Kykotsmovi, North Rim, Page, Paulden, Prescott,
  Prescott Valley, Saint Johns, Sedona, Seligman, Shonto,
  Snowflake- Taylor, Tuba City, Valle, Window Rock and Winslow.
  This includes portions of the Coconino National Forest, Kaibab
  National Forest, Prescott National Forest and Tonto National
  Forest.

* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph possible.
  Wind prone areas along the ridges, Kaibab and Coconino plateaus,
  and eastern slopes of the Mogollon Rim could see higher gusts of
  up to 50 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 9 percent.

* IMPACTS...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can
  cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity before first
  responders can contain them.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag
warnings.
