Conditions will become hazardous to small craft this afternoon
through early Saturday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Large waves and gusty winds may become hazardous to small craft
late Sunday through Monday.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Areas of dense fog will affect the first half of the morning
commute. Temperatures across Central Michigan of near to slightly
below freezing may allow fog to deposit ice on roads and walkways,
creating slick spots.

There is a chance for thunderstorms today, mainly east of US 131.
Severe weather is not expected, but storms may contain gusty winds
capable of blowing around loose objects.

Freezing temperatures and areas of frost are expected tonight.
This could damage or kill sensitive vegetation.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Frost and freezing temperatures will be a concern each night through
Tuesday night.

Northern Lower Michigan.

Areas of dense fog with visibilities of less than a quarter of a
mile will continue this morning across much of the interior
higher terrain of northern lower Michigan, as well as northeast
lower Michigan.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Additional frost and freeze conditions are possible over the next
several nights.

Patchy fog this morning. Motorists should exercise caution. Thunderstorms
are possible through this evening and may produce graupel.

Scattered thunderstorms are likely this afternoon into the early
evening hours. Low freezing levels will lead to very small hail with
any thunderstorm. Storms will be moving east around 25 mph.

Temperatures are expected to approach the freezing mark tonight
across many locations, but there may be just enough wind to help
limit frost formation.
