This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, Piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and
evening. Especially during the evening, a few of these storms could
become strong to severe, with the primary threat being damaging wind.
In addition, there`s a risk of isolated nuisance to minor flash
flooding where multiple storms cross the same area repeatedly.

Scattered thunderstorms will continue in northeast Georgia
tonight. Severe weather is not expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...
Daily thunderstorm activity will occur this weekend and next
week. Storm chances will be highest during the afternoon and
evening hours each day. While the risk of severe weather is low, a
couple of stronger storms are possible.
