CONDITIONS AND A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALONG EAST AND NORTH
FACING REEFS TONIGHT. TYPHOON WUTIP WILL CAUSE DANGEROUS SURF
CONDITIONS THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. A HIGH SURF WARNING IS NOW IN
EFFECT FOR EAST THROUGH WEST FACING REEFS.

WEDNESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TIYAN HAS ISSUED A HIGH SURF
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM TUESDAY. A HIGH SURF
ADVISORY HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED. THIS HIGH SURF ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT
FROM 6 AM TUESDAY TO 6 AM WEDNESDAY.

* NORTH FACING REEFS...HAZARDOUS SURF OF 8 TO 10 FEET WILL SLOWLY
  SUBSIDE TONIGHT TO BELOW HAZARDOUS LEVELS.

* EAST FACING REEFS...DANGEROUS SURF OF 12 TO 16 FEET IS NOW
  OCCURRING AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. SURF WILL
  SUBSIDE BELOW DANGEROUS LEVELS SATURDAY, HOWEVER, SURF WILL REMAIN
  HAZARDOUS THROUGH NEXT WEDNESDAY.

* SOUTH FACING REEFS...HAZARDOUS SURF OF 8 TO 10 FEET WILL BUILD
  OVERNIGHT...REACHING 17 TO 20 FEET SATURDAY. SURF WILL REMAIN
  DANGEROUS THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY MORNING.

* WEST FACING REEFS...SURF OF 7 TO 9 FEET WILL BUILD RAPIDLY THROUGH
  SATURDAY MORNING...BECOMING DANGEROUS BETWEEN 12 AND 16 FEET.
  DANGEROUS SURF WILL CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH SURF WARNING INDICATES THAT DANGEROUS...BATTERING WAVES
WILL POUND THE SHORELINE. THIS WILL RESULT IN LIFE-THREATENING
CONDITIONS.

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT HIGH SURF WILL AFFECT BEACHES IN
THE ADVISORY AREA...PRODUCING LOCALIZED BEACH EROSION AND
DANGEROUS SWIMMING CONDITIONS.

THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS.

RIP CURRENTS ARE POWERFUL CHANNELS OF WATER FLOWING QUICKLY AWAY
FROM SHORE...WHICH OCCUR MOST OFTEN AT LOW SPOTS OR BREAKS IN THE
SANDBAR AND IN THE VICINITY OF STRUCTURES SUCH AS JETTIES AND
PIERS. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REMAIN OUT OF THE WATER UNTIL TYPHOON
WUTIP IS NO LONGER AFFECTING THE AREA.
