This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New York, central
Vermont, northeast Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Temperatures on Tuesday will warm into the mid 80s to lower 90s with
dewpoints in the mid 60s to near 70 degrees. Heat indices in the St.
Lawrence and Champlain Valleys will increase to 92 to 96 degrees
Tuesday afternoon while elsewhere heat indices between 88 and 92
degrees will be possible. Thunderstorms will also be possible Tuesday
afternoon with plenty of instability over the region but the lack of
deep layer shear will limit overall convective potential. Nevertheless,
any thunderstorms that develop on Tuesday could produce locally
heavy rainfall, brief gusty winds and frequent cloud to ground
lightning.
