...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAU
KAUAI OAHU MOLOKAI AND NORTH FACING SHORES OF MAUI...
.A moderate, long period northwest swell (320 degree) will
produce elevated surf along select north and west facing shores
through today. Another moderate, long period north northwest
swell (330 degree) is expected to fill in tonight keeping surf
elevated through Thursday afternoon. Surf will gradually lower
thereafter.

* WHAT...Surf building to 15 to 20 feet along north facing shores
and 9 to 12 feet along west facing shores.
* WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu,
and Molokai, and north facing shores of Maui.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
will make swimming dangerous.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don`t
go out.
