* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Allen Parish in southwestern Louisiana...
  Beauregard Parish in southwestern Louisiana...
  Northwestern Calcasieu Parish in southwestern Louisiana...
  Southern Newton County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 145 PM CDT.

* At 1203 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain across the
  warned area has ended, however modeling data indicates that flash
  flooding is still occurring. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have
  fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Merryville, Reeves, Singer, De Quincy, Fields, Ragley, Bon Weir,
  Dry Creek, Oretta, Bivens, Longville, Tulla, Bancroft, Old Salem,
  Trout Creek, Devils Pocket, Wrights Settlement and Bundick Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR SOUTHEASTERN JASPER AND SOUTHWESTERN NEWTON COUNTIES...

At 1140 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Buna, Evadale, Deweyville, Gist and Hartburg.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

  stream gauges continue to indicate flooding will continue for the
  next few hours. Between 4 and 9 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
  flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
           flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Gauges reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  De Ridder, Leesville, Newton, Rosepine, Glenmora, Merryville,
  Elizabeth, Fort Polk, Slagle, Sugartown, Pitkin, Toledo Bend Dam,
  Burkeville, Hineston, Grant, New Llano, Cravens, Fullerton, Burr
  Ferry and Junction.
