* At 1029 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles east of
Foraker, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Low lying areas near the river flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 24.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.0
feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just
after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

DISCUSSION...
Isolated storms will continue west of I-49 this evening.
Additional storms have developed across central Kansas this
evening, and will push into portions of extreme southeastern
Kansas and far southwestern Missouri tonight into Saturday
morning. Small hail to the size of pennies and gusty winds of 40
to 50 mph will be possible with a few of the stronger storms
tonight into Saturday morning. Brief periods of locally heavy
rainfall will also occur with the storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) for isolated strong to severe storms
late Saturday night into Sunday morning generally along and
northwest of I-44.

This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Northeast Oklahoma.
ONSET...Around 7 PM.
DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms over north-central Oklahoma are expected to move
into northeast Oklahoma by late this afternoon. These storms will
pose a limited to near elevated severe weather risk. Damaging
winds and large hail are the main threats. There is some chance
that these storms will hold together enough to move across
northeast Oklahoma this evening and possibly into far northwest
Arkansas after midnight tonight. The severe risk is expected to
drop as we head into tonight, but an isolated severe storm is
possible.

Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
SUNDAY...No Hazards.
MONDAY through THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
A few thunderstorms may develop along the dryline to our west
Saturday afternoon. These storms may affect portions of northeast
Oklahoma during the late afternoon or into Saturday night. These
storms will carry a limited or marginal severe weather risk, with
large hail and damaging wind the main threats.
After a couple of dry and hot days Sunday and Monday with
afternoon heat indices near 100 degrees, thunderstorm chances
return by Monday night and will persist well into next week, along
with relatively cooler temperatures.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
Scattered thunderstorms will be possible across parts of the area
this afternoon and again tonight. A few of these storms could be
on the stronger side tonight, with small hail and wind gusts to 50
MPH both possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Another round of thunderstorms will impact parts of the area
during the late afternoon to late evening hours Saturday. A few of
these storms could become severe, capable of producing hail to
the size of ping pong balls and wind gusts to around 60 mph.
Periodic thunderstorm chances continue across at least parts of
the local area each day Sunday through Thursday. A few storms on
Sunday and Monday could be strong to marginally severe, though the
exact details remain uncertain.

this evening into tonight. These thunderstorms may become severe
with large hail near quarter size and wind gusts near 60 mph.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
Scattered thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon into
Saturday night. The strongest thunderstorms may produce hail up to
golf ball size and damaging winds up to 70 mph. Additional
thunderstorms are possible Sunday through Thursday.
