...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and west
  central Indiana, including the following counties, in central
  Indiana, Boone, Clinton, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard,
  Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush, Shelby and Tipton. In east
  central Indiana, Delaware, Henry and Randolph. In north central
  Indiana, Carroll. In west central Indiana, Fountain, Montgomery,
  Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion and Warren.

* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible through
    tonight due to training thunderstorms along a slow moving
    front. Locally higher amounts cannot be ruled out. These
    rainfall amounts could quickly lead to flash flooding as
    soils remain saturated from recent rainfall.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following
  counties, Fayette, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the
  following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware,
  Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking,
  Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Shelby
  and Union.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Repeated rounds of storms, combined with the extremely wet soil
    conditions will increase the risk for flash flooding into the
    overnight hours.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding occur
or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas and be
careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.
