This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern Indiana, southwest
Michigan and northwest Ohio.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
An isolated thunderstorm is possible late this afternoon mainly
south of US Route 24 across northern Indiana. Also chances for a few
thunderstorms tonight, mainly along and east of Interstate 69 across
northern Indiana and northwest Ohio. Severe weather is not expected
today or tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Periodic chances of showers and thunderstorms are expected for much
of this period. Greatest potential of storms will be Wednesday night
into Thursday, and then again on Saturday and Sunday. There is a
Marginal Risk of severe storms for Wednesday night, mainly for a
threat of strong wind gusts. Some locally heavy rainfall is possible
with any of the thunderstorms.
Dangerous swimming conditions are possible Thursday afternoon into
early Friday across southeast Lake Michigan beaches. North winds are
expected to develop behind a cold front leading to building waves.

DISCUSSION...
Scattered severe storms are possible Wednesday afternoon with
damaging winds and damaging hail as the main threats. Flash
flooding may also occur where thunderstorms train.
High waves will cause dangerous swimming conditions at Lake
Michigan beaches Thursday through Friday.
There will be periodic bouts of showers and thunderstorms
Saturday through Monday. Any storm during this period may be
severe with damaging winds and flash flooding.

Scattered thunderstorms will continue into the evening hours before
diminishing overnight. Severe storms are not expected. Heavy rain and
lightning are threats from any storm.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Thunderstorms are likely most days, with the lowest threat being
Friday.
Isolated strong to marginally severe storms are possible Wednesday
night. Isolated damaging wind gusts are the primary threat.
Otherwise, lightning and locally heavy rain will be the primary
threats with storms this week.

Michigan.

Patchy fog will be possible this morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Thunderstorms will become possible Wednesday morning, and will
continue to be possible into Thursday. Some of the storms could
become locally strong to severe. Large hail to quarter sized, wind
gusts up to 60 mph, locally heavy rainfall, and lightning will be
the main threats.
