* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Limestone County in north central Alabama...
  Colbert County in northwestern Alabama...
  Lauderdale County in northwestern Alabama...
  Northern Lawrence County in northwestern Alabama...

* WHEN...Until noon CST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 916 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected
    to begin shortly in NW Alabama. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in NW
    Alabama
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Florence, Athens, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia,
    Rogersville, Ardmore, Killen, Town Creek, Cherokee, Littleville,
    Lexington, Leighton, Courtland, St. Florian,
    Underwood-Petersville, Tanner, North Courtland and Hillsboro.

...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Mississippi...

  West Hobolochitto Creek Near McNeil affecting Pearl River County.

For the West Hobolochitto Creek...including McNeil...Moderate
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM EARLY THIS MORNING TO MONDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...West Hobolochitto Creek near McNeil.

* WHEN...From early this morning to Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, North Beech Road and Palestine Road in
  Picayune will be impassable. Several homes will be flooded in
  vicinity of the stream. Flooding threatens structures along MS
  Highway 43 near the bridge and fills culverts and ditches along
  bridge approach.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 5:45 AM CST Sunday the stage was 17.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
    at 5:45 AM CST Sunday was 17.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.5 feet
    this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early
    tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.5
    feet on 04/10/2021.
