...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR FLAGLER AND SOUTHEASTERN ST.
JOHNS COUNTIES UNTIL 630 PM EDT...

At 549 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Marineland to 8 miles southeast of
Crescent City. Movement was east at 15 mph.

Wind gusts of up 45 mph can be expected along with possible minor
wind damage.

Locations impacted include...
Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, Bunnell, Marineland, Beverly Beach and
Espanola.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

BLECKLEY...SOUTHERN TWIGGS AND NORTHERN PULASKI COUNTIES UNTIL 600 PM
EDT...

At 533 PM EDT...a strong thunderstorm was over Sand Bed, or near
Perry...moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind...frequent cloud to ground lightning
           and heavy rain.

  IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
           light...unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
           street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Some locations in the path of this storm include
Perry, Cochran, Hawkinsville, Warner Robins, Hayneville, Browndale,
Tarversville, Houston Lake, Mobley Crossing, Elko, Grove Park,
Baileys Park, Royal, Ocmulgee Public Fishing Area, Paulk, Cary,
Pulaski State Prison, Porter, Kathleen and Coley Station.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder...you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Motorists
should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
hydroplaning.
