.NOW...
Through 4 am, scattered showers continue to slowly drift
southwestward across the eastern Straits of Florida. Some of this
activity is occasionally producing some lightning. In addition, new
activity has developed closer to the Island Chain and may bring some
rainfall to the Upper Keys, especially northeast of Key Largo,
including Ocean Reef. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts
to 20 to 25 knots, and brief blinding downpours. Some island
communities of the Upper Keys, especially northeast of Key Largo may
pick up a quick few tenths to quarter inch of rainfall.
