THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Atchafalaya River at Morgan City.

* WHEN...From Wednesday evening to early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 6.0 feet, Flood stage. The city dock will be under
  water. Water will cover the lower end of Belleview Front Street in
  Berwick. Vessel traffic will be affected by stronger river current
  and vessel traffic safety rules will be strictly enforced by the
  U.S. Coast Guard.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 2.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a
    maximum value of 6.5 feet tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 6.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Flooding of some yards near the river will
  occur. Significant flooding of Beaver Park and Vermilionville will
  occur.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 7.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 13.0 feet Thursday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night to late Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Roads along Bayou Fuseilier are
  impassable. These include but are not limited to Walnut and Green
  roads along the St. Martin, St. Landry Parish line, as well as
  Meche Road in St. Landry Parish.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 6.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Thursday morning to a crest of 18.5 feet early Thursday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Friday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

    Thursday afternoon to a crest of 17.5 feet early Friday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Friday evening.

  Tangipahoa River Near Robert affecting Tangipahoa Parish.

  Tangipahoa River At Osyka affecting Pike County.

For the Tangipahoa River...including Osyka, Robert...Minor flooding
is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Low places along Highway 22 south of
  Robert will be under water. Water will approach the entrance of
  Hidden Oaks Campground. Trailers at the camp ground will be unable
  to be moved out when the river reaches 18 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 7.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tonight to a crest of 17.5 feet early Friday morning.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
