...The Flood Warning is now in effect until early tomorrow
afternoon...

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Tangipahoa River Near Robert.
* Until Saturday afternoon.
* At 7:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 17.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
  tomorrow morning.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet, Low places along Highway 22 south of Robert
  will be under water. Water will approach the entrance of Hidden
  Oaks Campground. Trailers at the camp ground will be unable to be
  moved out when the river reaches 18 feet.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Tchefuncte River Above U.S. Highway 190 Near Covington.
* Until this evening.
* At 7:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 20.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Water will invade Camp Tchefuncte`s parking
  lot. Vehicles must be removed to higher ground.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Pearl River Near Bogalusa.
* Until late Tuesday night.
* At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
  tomorrow morning to a crest of 19.5 feet Sunday morning. It will
  then fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
* Impact...At 18.5 feet, Woodlands and crop acreage along the river
  will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be
  inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Pearl River Near Pearl River.
* Until Saturday, May 15.
* At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.2 feet
  early Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Friday,
  May 14.
* Impact...At 15.5 feet, Secondary roads to the river and throughout
  Honey Island Swamp are inundated. Property in the vicinity of the
  gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank.
  The Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge will be closed to
  hunting at the 15.5 foot stage.

  the Mississippi River At Red River Landing.
* Until Sunday, May 23.
* At 6:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 46.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
  Sunday morning to a crest of 51.0 feet Monday, May 17th.
* Impact...At 51.0 feet, All river islands along the reach from Red
  River Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational camps
  and river bottom farm land will be under water.

* At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
  Saturday morning to a crest of 24.8 feet Sunday evening. It will
  then fall below flood stage late Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 24.0 feet, Flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands
  begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to higher ground.

* At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
  Saturday morning to a crest of 29.7 feet Sunday morning. It will
  then fall below flood stage Monday afternoon.
* Impact...At 29.0 feet, Pastureland becomes flooded. Livestock
  should be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river
  begins to flood.
