* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Central Hardin County in southern Illinois...
  Massac County in southern Illinois...
  Southeastern Pope County in southern Illinois...
  Southern Union County in northwestern Kentucky...
  Webster County in northwestern Kentucky...
  Ballard County in western Kentucky...
  Crittenden County in western Kentucky...
  Livingston County in western Kentucky...
  McCracken County in western Kentucky...
  Northwestern Marshall County in western Kentucky...

* WHEN...Until 115 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 811 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This  will cause urban and small stream flooding.
    Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Paducah, Metropolis, Morganfield, Providence, Marion, Calvert
    City, Sturgis, La Center, Reidland, Lone Oak, Breckinridge
    Center, Clay, Brookport, Dixon, Salem, Barlow, Burna, Joy and
    Ledbetter.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
