and central Kentucky.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Gusty winds will continue this afternoon and evening before
diminishing tonight.
Scattered snow showers are possible this evening and tonight,
especially east of Interstate 65. A coating of snowfall is possible
in any heavier snow showers, which could lead to patchy slick spots
Thursday morning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
There is increasing potential for accumulating snow Thursday night
into Friday, mainly across northern Kentucky and southern Indiana.

Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Winds will be strong and gusty this afternoon, with the gusty
winds continuing into tonight over the eastern mountains before
subsiding. See the Wind Advisory for more information.
Following the cold front`s passage, a northwest flow snowfall
event will bring accumulating snow to parts of the Southern
Appalachians and southwest Virginia later today and into early
Thursday. See the Winter Weather Advisory for more information
about the higher elevation snow accumulations.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
An Arctic cold snap following another cold front later Sunday
into early Monday, may bring overnight lows in the teens to
single digits. Very cold wind chills will also be possible,
especially across the highest elevations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
A brief period of very cold conditions can be expected Saturday
night into Sunday. Morning lows will be in the upper single digits
and teens, while wind chills will be in the single digits to
around zero. Highs Sunday will likely not escape the 20s across
most of the area. Lows Sunday night will be similar to Saturday
night, but winds will be light to calm.

West to Northwest wind gusts to 50 mph are expected through around
midday today, resulting in difficult travel conditions for high
profile vehicles. Brief, localized visibility reductions are possible
(20-40% chance) in a band of scattered snow showers this morning.

Another shot of Arctic air will arrive late this week, with wind
chills below zero Saturday night.

locations.

accumulations possible, especially in the Big Sandy River Basin.

southeast Indiana, northeast Kentucky, northern Kentucky, central
Ohio, south central Ohio, southwest Ohio and west central Ohio.

Windy conditions are expected today, with gusts of 35-45 mph
possible.
Snow showers are expected this afternoon into tonight. Slick road
conditions will be possible with falling temperatures especially
this evening into tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
A system will bring accumulating snow to the region Thursday night
into Friday. This will have the potential to impact the Friday
morning commute.
Another system will bring additional accumulating snow Saturday into
Saturday night with the greatest potential for accumulating snow
late in the day Saturday and into Saturday night.
Very cold air will filter into the region this weekend. Wind chill
values near or below zero will be possible in areas Sunday and Monday
morning.
