Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
  Elevated Frost Risk tonight away from Chicago.

DISCUSSION...

Breezy northwest winds and low afternoon relative humidity values
will result in a slightly elevated fire danger mainly across
interior portions of north-central Illinois this afternoon. Winds
may briefly gust as high as 35 mph well south of I-80 later this
morning and early afternoon.

Areas of frost are possible across outlying areas away from
Chicago tonight.

  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Frost is expected early Saturday morning, mainly along and north
of a line from Independence, Iowa to Clinton, Iowa to Princeton,
Illinois.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

Thunderstorms are possible Saturday night and Sunday mainly along
south of Interstate 80. Severe storms are not expected at this
time.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Areas of dense fog will affect the first half of the morning
commute. Temperatures across Central Michigan of near to slightly
below freezing may allow fog to deposit ice on roads and walkways,
creating slick spots.

There is a chance for thunderstorms today, mainly east of US 131.
Severe weather is not expected, but storms may contain gusty winds
capable of blowing around loose objects.

Freezing temperatures and areas of frost are expected tonight.
This could damage or kill sensitive vegetation.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Frost and freezing temperatures will be a concern each night through
Tuesday night.

activity, is likely Saturday night through Sunday that could lead to
some localized flooding.
