The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a

* Flood Watch for
  the Root River Canal At Raymond.
* From Tuesday morning to late Tuesday night.
* At 10:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 8.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor Flooding is possible.
* Forecast...Minor flood stage may be reached tomorrow morning.

precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and predicted
precipitation for the basin. Precipitation is for the next 24 hours
in the future from April through September and for 48 hours in the
future from October through March.
