...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Illinois...

  East Fork White River at Seymour.

  White River from Elliston to Hazleton.

  Wabash River from Montezuma to Hutsonville.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...Illinois...

  Wabash River at Covington.

  Wabash River from Riverton to Mount Carmel.

.Minor flooding continues along portions of central Indiana rivers
due to excessive rain over the previous few weeks. Largely dry
weather is in store for the week ahead, with only a few low chances
of rain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

The next statement should be issued late tonight by around 300 AM
EDT /200 AM CDT/.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Covington.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, Some low agricultural fields flood.
  Backyard flood of cottages a short distance north of U.S. Highway
  136.  High water blocks land access to at least one residence.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 17.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:45 AM EDT Sunday was 18.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tonight and continue falling and remain below flood
    stage.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

  Illinois River at Beardstown affecting Brown, Cass, Schuyler and
  Morgan Counties.

  Illinois River at Havana affecting Cass, Fulton and Mason Counties.

.River levels continue to fall on the middle portion of the Illinois
River, and flooding is expected to subside next weekend.

The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil
moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with interests along this river need to remain aware of the
latest forecasts and associated flood risk for their area. Stay tuned
for further updates on this flooding situation.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
    at 9:45 AM CDT Sunday was 16.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early
    Friday morning and continue falling to 12.5 feet Sunday, August
    30.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
