...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN DE KALB COUNTY...

At 524 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Malta, or near
Shabbona, moving east southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
DeKalb, Shabbona, Hinckley, Waterman, Malta, and Lee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM CDT
FOR EASTERN JO DAVIESS AND SOUTHWESTERN STEPHENSON COUNTIES...

At 533 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Apple Canyon
Lake, or 13 miles east of Galena, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Stockton, Elizabeth, Woodbine, Scales Mound, Apple River, Schapville,
Massbach, Loran, Guilford, Kent, Elizabeth Fairgrounds, Canyon Camp,
Willow, Apple River Canyon State Park, Stockton Airport, Elmoville,
and Apple Canyon Lake.

This also includes Apple River Canyon State Park.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly

* At 523 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fillmore
  Recreation Area, or 15 miles southwest of Dubuque, moving southeast
  at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cascade, Farley, La Motte, Bernard, Zwingle, Otter Creek, South
