...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Beach Hazards Statement, long period westerly
swell will result in an increased risk for sneaker waves and
strong rip currents. Breaking waves 10 to 14 feet, with long
lulls of 10 to 20 minutes or more between largest sets. For
the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to 1.4 ft of inundation above

* WHERE...Bayshore locations along San Francisco and Monterey
  Bay.

For the Beach Hazards Statement, through this evening.

typically more frequent and stronger in the vicinity of
jetties, inlets, and piers. For the Coastal Flood Advisory,
flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road
  closures expected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, at the
San Francisco tidal gauge high tide is expected to be 1.2 ft
above normal (7.00 ft MLLW) at 9:04 AM Wednesday, 1.4 ft above

closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Dangerous conditions are forecast along the shoreline. Hazards
include sneaker waves, strong rip currents, and large breaking
waves. Stay off the rocks and NEVER turn your back on the ocean!

217 AM PST Wed Dec 3 2025

...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Very high astronomical tides during the mornings
combined with elevated surf up to 5 to 6 feet, primarily at
west-facing beaches today, will result in minor tidal overflow
  and local beach flooding.

* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County
  Coastal Areas.

* WHEN...Through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Minor tidal overflow, beach flooding, and coastal
erosion most likely during times of high tides. Hazardous
  swimming conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Predicted high tides at La Jolla: 6.8 feet
at 653 AM today, 7.1 feet at 734 AM Thursday, and 7.1 feet at
  818 AM Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A beach hazards statement for minor tidal overflow means that
high astronomical tides, especially in combination with above
normal surf, will likely produce minor flooding of low-lying
areas along the beach such as beach parking lots. Coastal
officials should take the necessary precautionary measures to
safeguard their beaches.

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water to avoid
hazardous swimming conditions.
