counties in western Maryland, eastern West Virginia, and Highland
County Virginia.

A Freeze Watch is in effect for Western Highland (VA) and Western
Pendleton (WV) from midnight tonight through 9 AM Saturday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Freezing temperatures and/or frost conditions are possible
Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

northwest North Carolina, south central Virginia, southwest
Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

Strong and gusty west to northwest are expected to develop this
afternoon. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph will
be possible from late morning through the early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Virginia and south
central Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible during the late
morning and early to mid afternoon hours today. There is a marginal
threat that a few of these storms could become strong to severe and
produce dime to quarter-sized hail and strong, damaging wind gusts.
The main threat for these storms will be east of U.S. Highway 29.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Limited spotter activation is possible today roughly within the 11
AM to 4 PM time frame.
