  Loudoun Counties

...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in
  Potomac River at Edwards Ferry affecting Montgomery and Loudoun

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Potomac River at Edwards Ferry.
* Until this evening.
* At 7 AM Tuesday the stage was 17.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at
  7 AM Tuesday was 17.9 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  mid-afternoon today.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet...Floodwaters begin to enter the store at
  Whites Ferry.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.4 feet
  on Sep 27 2018.
