For the Appomattox Basin...including Mattoax...Matoaca...Minor
flooding is occurring and is expected to continue.For the Chowan
Basin...including Sebrell...Minor flooding is forecast.

* At 09:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 21.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  after midnight tonight.
* At 21.0 feet...Agricultural and pasture land flooded.
This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 22.3 feet on
Sep 18 2018.

* At 08:45 PM Wednesday the stage was 11.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  early afternoon Thursday.
* At 10.0 feet...Minor flooding begins. Canal begins to overflow
  along the right bank.
This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 9.9 feet on Sep
20 2018.

The National Weather Service in Wakefield has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern King and Queen County in east central Virginia...
  Southeastern Caroline County in north central Virginia...
  Northwestern King William County in east central Virginia...

* Until 915 AM EDT Thursday.

* At 832 PM EDT, the reporting gauge on the Mattaponi River at
  Beulahville continued to indicate water levels above minor flood
  stage. This indicates that the river is out of its banks and some
  roads in the area near the river may be impacted with flood
  waters. Motorists are urged to heed any high water or road closed
  signs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
