* Flood Warning for...
  Carroll County in north central Maryland...
  Northern Baltimore County in northern Maryland...

* Until 815 AM EDT Sunday.

* At 1112 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
  flooding. Two to four inches of rain has fallen across the area
  and additional rainfall amounts around one to two inches are
  expected. This will cause creeks and streams to rise out of their
  banks.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Cockeysville, Westminster, Owings Mills, Eldersburg, Reisterstown,
  Mays Chapel, Timonium, Mount Airy, Fallston, Taneytown, Hampstead,
  Manchester, Sykesville, Oakland, Gamber, Lutherville-Timonium,
  Garrison, New Windsor, Union Bridge and Carrollton.

  Northern Frederick County in north central Maryland...

* Until 500 AM EDT Sunday.

* At 1056 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
  flooding. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Another
  one to two inches is expected. Flooding was reported on Main
  Street in Thurmont.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Thurmont, Emmitsburg, Wolfsville, Myersville, Sabillasville,
  Pleasant Walk, Rocky Ridge and Graceham.

  King George County in central Virginia...

* Until 830 AM EDT Sunday.

* At 1054 PM EDT, numerous roads are closed due to high water.
  Doppler radar indicated heavy rainfall amounts between 4 and 8
  inches across most of the warned area. Additional rainfall amounts
  up to an inch are expected. Numerous creeks and streams have risen
  out of their banks and flooding is expected to continue overnight.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Waldorf, Bowie, Annapolis, Clinton, Crofton, Largo, La Plata, Mayo,
  Shady Side, Chesapeake Beach, Deale, Naval Academy, King George,
  Dahlgren, Prince Frederick, Upper Marlboro, Fairview Beach,
  Nanjemoy Creek, Severn River and South River.

  Southeastern Fauquier County in northern Virginia...

* Until 515 AM EDT Sunday.

* At 1046 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated rainfall amounts of 2 to 6
  inches across most of the warned area. The heaviest rainfall has
  ended, but creeks and streams continue to rise from the rainfall
  this evening. The Virginia Department of Highways reported that
  Sowego Road near Elk Road was closed due to high water.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Warrenton, New Baltimore, Nokesville, Catlett, Calverton, Midland,
  Broken Hill, Auburn, Casanova, Somerville and Bristersburg.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Seneca Creek at Dawsonville.
* From overnight tonight until Sunday evening.
* At 10 PM Saturday the stage was 8.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at
  10 PM Saturday was 8.2 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 8.6 feet by
  tomorrow morning. The river will fall below flood stage late
  tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact...At 7.5 feet...Portions of the Seneca Creek Greenway are
  flooded. A small portion of Berryville Road west of Darnestown
  begins to flood.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.9 feet
  on Jul 29 2017.
