* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point MD to Smith Point VA,
  Patuxent River to Broomes Island MD, Tangier Sound and the
  inland waters surrounding Bloodsworth Island, Choptank River
  to Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River, Tidal Potomac
  from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA, and Eastern Bay.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller

...GALE WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, north to northeast winds 15
  to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Waves of 3 to 5 ft in the bay,
  with 2 to 3 ft waves in the Lower James River. For the Gale
  Watch, northwest winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and
  waves 4 to 6 ft possible.

* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay from Smith Point to Little Creek VA and
  James River from James River Bridge to Hampton Roads Bridge-
  Tunnel.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 10 AM EDT Saturday.
  For the Gale Watch, from Sunday evening through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.
