Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Llano River Near Mason affecting Mason County.

For the Llano River...including Junction, Mason...Moderate flooding
is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

  area at rest stop off of US HWY 87 will begin flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.0
    feet early tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

  begin to reach the Menard Business District. The city park will be
  flooded. Water will begin to encroach on the Menard County RV Park.

  - At 2:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 10.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 18.3 feet. It will
    then fall below flood stage early tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    18.0 feet on 11/03/2000.

  low water crossings will be flooded and impassible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 23.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:00 PM CDT Sunday was 23.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late this
    afternoon to 10.6 feet this evening. It will then rise above
    flood stage late this evening to 19.1 feet just after
    midnight tonight. It will fall below flood stage again late
    tonight to 4.3 feet tomorrow afternoon. It will then rise to
    5.0 feet tomorrow afternoon. It will fall again and remain
    below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

  counties, Schleicher and Sutton.

* WHEN...Until 515 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 214 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated between 3 and 7 inches have fallen. Flooding is
    already occurring in the warned area.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    The Intersection Of Ranch Road 2596 And Ranch Road 864.
  - This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 404 and 429.

    Flooding is already occurring in the warned area.

  Guadalupe River at Hunt affecting Kerr County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.

To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground.

  travel to western parts of the county. Areas of the headwaters are
  isolated temporarily as low water crossings flood.

  - At 1:20 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 8.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 13.2 feet late this afternoon.
    It will then fall below flood stage this evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    13.5 feet on 12/21/1991.

  bridges along the Devils River are impassable, and motorists may
  become stranded between low spots for several hours.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 4.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this evening to a crest of 9.1 feet just after midnight
    tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    9.1 feet on 06/28/2016.

  - At 1:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 2.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 7.5 feet late tonight. It
    will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    8.2 feet on 08/31/2022.
