...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN FAYETTE AND EASTERN
SHELBY COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 AM CDT...

At 946 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ellendale, or near Bartlett, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Millington, Cordova, Memphis,
Lakeland, Arlington, Ellendale, Eads, Frayser, Midtown Memphis,
Piperton, Gallaway, Braden, Lenow, Griffin Corner, Woodstock,
Rosemark, and Kirk.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 1 and 33.
 Interstate 240 between mile markers 12 and 17, and near mile marker
30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Theo, or near Big Hill Pond State Park, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Corinth, Selmer, Big Hill Pond State Park, Glen, Pocahontas, Theo,
Farmington, Eastview, Michie, Guys, Ramer, Kossuth, Pebble Hill,
Strickland, Wenasoga, Biggersville, Tulu, Jobes, Acton, and Chewalla.
