10 AM PST WEDNESDAY...
...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM MONDAY TO 10 AM
PST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Seas become wind driven and steep 9 to 10 ft this evening
  and build to steep to very steep 9 to 12 ft Monday afternoon.
  North winds increase to 20 to 25 kt this evening and increase
  further to 25 to 30 kt Monday afternoon.

* WHERE...Small Craft Advisory conditions will affect areas from
  Gold Beach southward beyond 5 NM from shore. Then Hazardous Seas
  Warning conditions will affect areas south of Port Orford beyond
  6 NM from shore with Small Craft Advisory conditions most other
  areas.

* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 1 PM Monday to 10
  AM PST Wednesday. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 7 PM this
  evening to 10 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Bar crossing will become especially
  treacherous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port
until conditions improve.

  damage smaller vessels.

  gusts up to 40 kt and steep seas of 11 to 13 feet expected.
  For the Small Craft Advisory, north winds 20 to 30 kt with
  gusts up to 35 kt and steep seas building to 8 to 10 feet
  expected.

* WHERE...Pt St George to Cape Mendocino 10 to 60 nm.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, from 3 PM Monday to 3 AM PST
  Tuesday. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 3 PM this
  afternoon to 3 PM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.
