...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Rock River at Afton.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.1 feet, Floodwaters affect the property of a home
  on South Christian Road on the east side of the river in the Afton
  area. Minor erosional flood damage occurs to lowland and
  agricultural land adjacent to the river the Afton and Janesville
  areas. This level is the 20 percent chance flood meaning that
  there is a 20 percent chance in any given year of the river
  reaching this level.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 AM CDT Thursday was 9.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 9.8 feet Monday
    evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    9.8 feet on 04/11/1982.

* WHEN...Until Thursday, June 13.

* IMPACTS...At 8.2 feet, There is widespread flooding of
  agricultural land and lowland. There is widespread flooding in
  Riverbend Campground, about 5 miles upstream of Milford. This
  level is considered to be about a 20 percent chance flood meaning
  there is a 20 percent chance in any given year of the river
  reaching this level.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 7.3 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:45 AM CDT Thursday was 7.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 7.7
    feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    early Wednesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    7.7 feet on 03/29/2009.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Rock River at Jefferson.

* WHEN...From Friday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 11.3 feet, Floodwaters affect low lying areas of
  residential and business property in Jefferson. Water approaches
  the intersection of Highway 26 (Main St) and County Road N (E Dane
  St). S Center Ave near the river flooded and Riverview Drive near
  the wastewater plant flooded. Park is flooded. The retention pond
  at S Main St and E Dane St is full.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 10.8 feet
    Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    10.8 feet on 06/05/2000.
