* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
  tomorrow evening to a crest of 68.1 feet Saturday evening. It will
  then fall below flood stage Sunday evening.
* Impact...At 68.0 feet, Millers Ferry Park begins to flood.

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
  Saturday morning to a crest of 24.8 feet Sunday evening. It will
  then fall below flood stage late Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 24.0 feet, Flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands
  begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to higher ground.

* At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
  Saturday morning to a crest of 29.7 feet Sunday morning. It will
  then fall below flood stage Monday afternoon.
* Impact...At 29.0 feet, Pastureland becomes flooded. Livestock
  should be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river
  begins to flood.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  the Chattahoochee River at Columbus.
* From early this morning to this afternoon.
* At 5:30 AM CDT Friday /6:30 AM EDT Friday/ the stage was 27.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 27 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage later
  this morning and continue falling to 21.4 feet early Wednesday
  morning.
* Impact...At 27 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding occurs
  along the river upstream and downstream from the gage on the 14th
  Street bridge. Portions of the River Walk in Columbus begin to
  flood and will be closed to the public. The water level continues
  to approach the foundation of the Phenix City Amphitheater in
  Alabama.

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
  tomorrow morning to a crest of 19.5 feet Sunday morning. It will
  then fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
* Impact...At 18.5 feet, Woodlands and crop acreage along the river
  will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be
  inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads.

* Until Saturday, May 15.
* At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.2 feet
  early Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Friday,
  May 14.
* Impact...At 15.5 feet, Secondary roads to the river and throughout
  Honey Island Swamp are inundated. Property in the vicinity of the
  gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank.
  The Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge will be closed to
  hunting at the 15.5 foot stage.
