...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Chippewa
  and Yellow Medicine Counties.

.Recent rainfall continues to elevate river levels on the Minnesota
River at Montevideo and Morton. Periods of rain through Tuesday will
only allow the river levels to slowly recede over the next few days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Montevideo.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the
  river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along
  the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Friday, the stage was 14.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Friday was 14.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain fairly steady
    around 14.9 feet through Sunday...then begin to slowly
    recede.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.9 feet on 10/11/2017.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Friday, the stage was 21.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Friday was 21.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Monday morning and continue falling to 20.0 feet Friday, June
    07.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    21.4 feet on 05/31/2004.

Dakota...Minnesota...

  Red River of the North at Fargo affecting Cass and Clay Counties.

For the Red River...including Wahpeton, Hickson, Fargo, Halstad,
East Grand Forks, Oslo, Drayton, Pembina...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message - Turn around, don`t drown. Don`t travel through
flooded areas. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Low-level dam south of Main Ave is closed
  (Fargo).

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 18.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:15 AM CDT Friday was 19.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.0
    feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    Friday, June 07.
  - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 AM CDT Friday was 13.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.3
    feet around midnight tonight before falling through the
    weekend. This forecast will be impacted by how much rain
    eventually falls over the next 24 hours.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
