This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western Upper
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Moderate to possibly heavy lake effect snowfall this morning,
focused north and west of US-41. Uncertainty remains high in the
exact placement of the dominant band with a high boom/bust
scenario. See the Winter Weather Message for more information.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Gusty southwest winds will increase today and persist through the
evening. Winds of 15 to 20 knots with gusts of up to 30 knots are
expected, with building waves. The largest waves will be found
along the North Shore. Small Craft Advisories are in effect from
noon today until midnight tonight for the Outer Apostle Islands
and northeast of Grand Marais along the North Shore.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A cold front will pass across western Lake Superior late Tuesday
night which will veer winds northwesterly with speeds of 15 to 25
knots with gusts around 30 knots beginning Wednesday. There is a
10-30% chance of gales to 35 knots over portions of the North
Shore waters near Grand Marais and Grand Portage. Winds and waves
will gradually diminish late Wednesday night.

Another period of strong northwest winds is forecast as a clipper
passes over the region Thursday night and Friday. Winds will
strengthen from the southwest and become hazardous to small craft
before veering northwesterly and strengthening further in the
wake of another cold front. There is a 30 to 60% chance of gales
to 35 knots in the wake of this second front over portions of the
North Shore waters.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Light snow is likely tonight, mainly for the Arrowhead and South
Shore. Up to an inch is possible for the Arrowhead, and an inch or
two for the South Shore. Lighter amounts will fall elsewhere.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

There is a chance of light snow again Thursday afternoon and
night. Light snowfall amounts, generally an inch or less are
expected.

Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
to the National Weather Service.

southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

A light dusting of snow is possible tonight mainly across western
Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

There will be a few chances for snow later this week although no
major systems are expected. Thursday morning lows will be very
cold, in the range of -5 to -15 degrees.

Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Light snow may also result in slippery roads this evening into
Wednesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Light snow may also result in slippery roads Friday into Friday
night.

Record or near record cold is expected Wednesday night and
Thursday. Hazardous wind chills of 10 below to 20 below zero are
forecast for late Wednesday night into Thursday morning over much
of the area. The cold will continue as below normal temperatures
are expected into next week.
