Scattered to numerous afternoon and evening thunderstorms are
expected Tuesday. Isolated severe storms are possible, with the
main hazards being damaging winds and localized flash flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Heat index values will be near to just above 100 across the
southern valley near Chattanooga on Friday (Independence Day)
through the weekend.

Any reports of wind damage and flooding are welcome through
Tuesday, but the coverage of strong to severe storms is expected
to be limited.

afternoon as front pushes southward with marginal risk in effect
for isolated damaging wind gusts.
