This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Waves of showers and embedded thunderstorms are expected today into
this evening as a low pressure system moves across the region.
Through late afternoon, any stronger storms which develop could
produce small hail in addition to heavy rain and lightning.
This evening, there is a narrow window where strong storms could
produce a spin-up tornado, in addition to hail and gusty winds. This
would mainly be for portions of southwest Indiana and Kentucky west
of Interstate 65.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotters may be needed to report severe weather this afternoon and
evening.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
Storms will move from west to east at 30 to 40 mph today.
Any users of this storm motion must be aware that thunderstorm activity
can be erratic and constantly evolving. Please use this with caution
and be prepared for changing conditions.
