...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east Tennessee, including the following
  county, Morgan.

* WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 336 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Wartburg, Harriman, Oakdale and Frozen Head State Park.

    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin

    Dayton, Rockwood, Decatur, Spring City, Peakland, Piney Falls

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest North Carolina, including the
  following county, Wilkes.

* WHEN...Until 815 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 622 PM EDT, The public reported flooding on Elkin Hwy 268
    in North Wilkesboro due to heavy rain. Between 1 and 2 inches
    of rain have fallen. Heavy rain is moving out of the area but
    runoff is expected to continue to collect into creeks,
    streams, and rivers.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Fish Dam Creek, Darnell Creek, Little Fork Creek, Moravian
    Creek, Middle Fork Reddies River, Mulberry Creek, North Fork
    Reddies River, Bee Tree Branch and Cub Creek.
    Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    North Wilkesboro...                Wilkesboro...

  - At 553 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain from
    training storms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
    begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Deese, Cornelius, Dabolt, Parrot, Bond, Peoples, Shop Branch,
    Middlefork, Moores Creek, Olin, Annville, Eberle, Carico,
    Green Hill, Ardery, Settle Store, Dango, Cruise, Welchburg
    and Mildred.

  Whitley. In southeast Kentucky, Knox.

* WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Moore Hill, North Corbin, Barton and Corbin.
