This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
A mixture of rain and freezing rain will transition to snow this
evening and tonight. A trace up to 1.5 inches of snow southwest
of the Tri-Cities and up to 4 inches of snow northeast of the Tri-
Cities will be possible through Saturday afternoon. A Winter
Weather Advisory will be in effect from 9PM tonight through 3PM
Saturday. Please refer to the advisory statement for more
information.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
A mixture of rain and freezing rain will transition to snow early
Saturday morning. A trace up to 1.5 inches of snow southwest of
the Tri-Cities and up to 4 inches of snow northeast of the Tri-Cities
will be possible through Saturday afternoon. A Winter Weather
Advisory will be in effect through 3PM Saturday. Please refer to
the advisory statement for more information.
Strong northwest winds with gusts up to 30 to 45 MPH may lead to
blowing snow during the afternoon Saturday.
A combination of slick roads and poor visibility will likely lead
to hazardous travel conditions for at least portions of the area
on Saturday.
Wind chills dip just below zero for much of Nebraska Saturday and
Sunday nights.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Kansas, east central
Kansas, north central Kansas and northeast Kansas.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
No hazardous weather is expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Rain will mix with or change to wet snow from northwest to southeast
Saturday as colder air moves into the area. Most locations are
likely to only see a trace of snow, while portions of far northern
Kansas could see around a half an inch mainly on grassy areas.
A colder storm system will bring a chance for accumulating snow to
the area later Sunday night through Monday. This storm system has the
potential to bring travel impacts to the region so please monitor
forecasts through the weekend for updates.

west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.
.DAY ONE...Through tonight.
There is a low probability of widespread hazardous weather.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

.KEY MESSAGES...
- Cool and dry Thanksgiving today.
- Majority of Friday will be dry with a storm system arriving
Friday night
- Chances for wintry precipitation have expanded. 4-7 inches of
snow is possible across far NE MO (including the Kirksville
area). A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for this area.
Other areas could see 0.5-3 inches of snow.
- Some uncertainties remain with the potential for a shifting
storm track, and a fine line between light snow and more
notable accumulating snow, and chances for rain undercutting
potential snow totals.
- Road travel impacts are likely late Friday through Saturday
especially along I-35, US-36, and US-65.
