This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, southwest Minnesota, and northeast Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Wildfire smoke will continue to drift over the Plains into Monday
morning. At times, smoke may reduce visibility and air quality.
Those sensitive to air quality should limit outdoor exposure into
Monday.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday
Thunderstorms return to the forecast for Monday evening and
continue into Tuesday morning. Thunderstorms that form over
central and eastern South Dakota will move southeast by late
evening and overnight, bringing the risk for an isolated severe
storm to the area. Marginally severe hail up to the size of
quarters and 60 mph winds may be possible.

Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South Dakota, east central
South Dakota, south central South Dakota, and southeast South
Dakota.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday
Scattered strong to severe storms are expected to form along a
cold front stretching from south central South Dakota into
northeastern South Dakota by mid- afternoon Monday. These storms
will move slowly southeast through the evening and overnight
hours. Thunderstorms will be capable of ping pong ball size hail
and 60 mph winds. Brief heavy rain may also be possible through
the night.

Spotter activation may be needed after 3pm Monday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
There is a slight (level 2 of 5) risk of severe thunderstorms
Monday afternoon and into Monday night across much of north central
Nebraska. The main threats will be large hail, damaging winds, and
heavy rainfall.
Heavy rainfall Monday afternoon through early Tuesday morning will
result in over 2 inches of rainfall. Some localized flash flooding
may occur in small streams, low-lying areas, and area roadways.
