Indiana, western Kentucky and southeast Missouri.

A quick-moving system will bring snow showers with light
accumulations this morning to far southeast Illinois, southwest
Indiana, northwest Kentucky, and the southern Kentucky Pennyrile.
Some minor travel impacts cannot be ruled out. Refer to the Special
Weather Statement for details.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow showers will continue today, picking up in coverage and
intensity this afternoon and evening. Storm total snowfall
amounts in excess of 12 inches are possible at or above 5,000 feet
in elevation in the Smokies, with 4-8 inches elsewhere in the
east Tennessee mountains between the Smokies and roughly Sams Gap.
Totals of 1-4 inches can be generally expected in the remainder
of the east Tennessee mountains and higher terrain of southwest
Virginia, with 1-2 inches possible in the northern plateau.

In addition to the snowfall, breezy winds will accompany the cold
temperatures through tonight, leading to wind chill values around
or slightly below zero in the mountains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Snowfall comes to an end before daybreak Tuesday, but cold
wind chill values around or slightly below zero continue through
the mid morning hours.

Dry conditions with warming temperatures are expected through the
end of the week.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight...

A Freeze Warning is in effect for portions of northern and western
Georgia through early Monday morning. Please protect any sensitive
vegetation and outdoor pipes.

The first widespread hard freeze of the season is expected Monday
night and Tuesday morning. A Freeze Watch is in effect. This
event will impact all of north and central Georgia. Please protect
any exposed pipes and bring in sensitive plants.

A Fire Danger Statement is in effect this afternoon and evening
for portions of central Georgia where a combination of low
humidities and gusty winds will lead to elevated fire conditions.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday...

Hazardous fire weather conditions may warrant another Fire Danger
Statement on Tuesday for dry fuels and low humidities.

No other hazardous weather is expected through Sunday.

Widespread snow showers are expected to develop and move across the
outlook area later this morning and into the afternoon hours. Minor
snowfall accumulations are possible and negative travel impacts will
be possible.
