...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington,
  including the following counties, in northwest Washington, Mason,
  Skagit and Whatcom. In west central Washington, King and Snohomish.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - One and a quarter to two and quarter inches of rain fell
    overnight in the Olympics and Northern and Central Washington
    Cascades. Another one to one and a half inches is forecast
    for today. Snow levels will remain high, near 8000 feet. The
    rivers of most concern are the Skokomish in Mason county and
    the Skykomish in Snohomish county.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
