The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Woods County in northwestern Oklahoma...
  East central Roger Mills County in western Oklahoma...
  Custer County in western Oklahoma...
  Northern Blaine County in northwestern Oklahoma...
  Dewey County in northwestern Oklahoma...
  Southeastern Woodward County in northwestern Oklahoma...
  Major County in northwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 915 AM CDT Sunday.

* At 1212 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain which will cause flooding. Over six inches of rain has
  fallen northwest of Fairview. Over four inches of rain has fallen
  south as well as northeast of Putnam. Four inches of rain has also
  fallen northwest of Okeene. Less than an inch of additional
  rainfall is expected. Flooding of low level and poor drainage
  areas is expected through the night.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Clinton, Fairview, Taloga, Okeene, Thomas, Seiling, Arapaho,
  Canton, Leedey, Custer City, Cleo Springs, Butler, Longdale, Ames,
  Oakwood, Putnam, Canton Lake, Moorewood, Orienta and Orion.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Salt Fork Arkansas River at Tonkawa.

* from Sunday morning to Tuesday morning...or until the warning is
  cancelled.

* At  7:30 PM Saturday the stage was 15.7 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* Forecast...The Salt Fork Arkansas River will rise above flood stage
  late Sunday morning and crest near 18.3 feet mid Monday morning.
  The Salt Fork Arkansas River will fall below flood stage early
  Tuesday morning.

* Impact...At 20.0 feet...Flood depths ranging up to about 3 feet
  move from eastern Grant County...across Kay County...to the
  confluence with the Arkansas River below Ponca City. Farmland and
  oilfields are flooded hours before the crest. The intersection of
  Fountain Road and U.S. Highway 77 south of Tonkawa...and State
  Highway 156 between Marland and Ponca City are closed.

  Northeastern Chautauqua County in southeastern Kansas...

* Until 100 PM CDT Sunday.

* At 1259 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain which will cause flooding. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Parsons, Chanute, Neodesha, Fredonia, Erie, St. Paul, Thayer,
  Altoona, Longton, Elk City, Buffalo, Fall River, Galesburg, Elk
  Falls, Sycamore, Benedict, Stark, New Albany, Earlton and Lake
  Parsons.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

  very heavy rainfall across southern and southwest portions of
  Harper county, where up to three inches of rain have already
  fallen.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
  Anthony, Harper, Attica, Bluff City, Danville, Waldron, Freeport,
  Corwin, Runnymede and Crystal Springs.

Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the
warned area.

  flood stage late Sunday evening.
* Impact...At 28.0 feet, minor lowland flooding occurs.

  morning. The river should fall below flood stage by late Monday
  morning.
* At 15 feet, Caution should be exercised near the river because of
  minor out of bank flow.
