* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, south winds 15 to 20 kt
  with gusts up to 30 kt and seas 5 to 7 feet at 10 seconds
  expected. For the Gale Warning, south winds 30 to 40 kt with
  gusts up to 50 kt and seas 13 to 18 feet at 12 seconds expected.

* WHERE...Waters from Cape Shoalwater WA to Cascade Head OR from
  10 to 60 NM and Waters from Cascade Head to Florence OR from
  10 to 60 NM.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 1 PM to 4 PM PST this
  afternoon. For the Gale Warning, from 4 PM this afternoon to 8
  AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the

  - GENERAL SEAS...4 to 6 ft early Friday morning. Seas then
    build again reaching 8 to 10 ft Friday evening.

  - FIRST EBB...Around 1015 AM Friday. Seas to 7 ft.

  - SECOND EBB...Around 1030 PM Friday. Seas to 11 ft with
    breakers possible.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to midnight PST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft
  especially when navigating in or near harbor entrances.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Cape Flattery to Cape Shoalwater
  out to 60 nm.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, from 4 PM this afternoon to 10 AM
  PST Saturday. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 6 AM this
  morning to 4 PM PST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

* WHAT...South winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 50 kt and very
  steep wind driven seas of 15 to 20 ft expected. Winds weaken
  slightly Saturday afternoon, with steep to very steep seas of 12
  to 15 ft at around 10 seconds continuing through Saturday night.

* WHERE...Gales and very steep and hazardous seas will impact all
  areas.

* WHEN...The Gale Warning is in effect from 11 AM this morning to
  1 PM PST Saturday. The Hazardous Seas Warning and Small Craft
  Advisory are in effect from 1 PM Saturday to 4 AM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and very steep seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Low visibility conditions are expected.
